Last night Cakabrese put on an awesome show at the Metaphor Cafe here in San Diego county. It was one of the best shows I've ever seen.

The line up was:
To Walk the Night - pretty good punk band. Their drummer didn't miss a beat.

The Bombpops - rad punk group with not one but TWO chicks playing guitar and singing. On top of being really cute, they played well and got the crowd going.

Pass the Axe - one of the best local bands from San Diego. I was so impressed I picked up one of their tshirts and I talked to them for a bit. Check them out.

Zombie Cartel - they put off a good vibe, but they were not the best in show. They did well in capturing the crowd's energy and they had a stand-up bass.

Calabrese - the brothers Calabrese brought the shit down. They had a pretty big set, played well, and blew a fuse in the venue! Everyone was having a good time and singing along. Awesome crowd involvement, and when they ended the set with "Vampira", I was blown away.

Here's the guys. Look at Davey in the background!

Lead singer from Zombie Cartel:

Me with the band:

Holy fuck Bobby looks like the love child of Bill Compton and Robert Pattison.

It was a fucking honor, Bobby! I'm inspired by you guys and your music a lot and it was really awesome to meet the three of you.

I'll definitely be at all the shows you put on out here.
